How does Botox Work ?

Before performing any Botox® injections, it is important to attend an initial consultation with Doctor Carolyn Carbasse in order
to study the different possibilities and explain to you the options available.
Botox® sessions last about 30 minutes and a numbing cream is placed to the treated area to ensure a pain free experience.
A review appointment will be given after 2 weeks (as this is when the Botox® reaches its maximum effect), for the doctor to make sure you
are happy with the results and add any units of Botox® where may be necessary.
Improvements in the lines and relaxing of the muscle will begin to be apparent after 5-10 days following treatment and the results of Botox® last between 3-6 months.
